Aboubacar Coulibaly To Take Over As Nestlé Cameroun Managing Director

Aboubacar Coulibaly, new Nestlé Cameroun Managing Director

Aboubacar Coulibaly, the General Business Manager for Nestlé Senegal & Satellites will, as from April 1, 2022, be taking over from Nestlé Cameroun’s current Managing Director, Robert Helou.

While Aboubacar Coulibaly replaces Helou in Cameroon, Helou, on his side, will be moving over to Saudi Arabia in the same capacity as Managing Director of Nestlé Saudi Arabia.

Apart from only being the Nestlé Cameroun’s Managing Director, Aboubacar Coulibaly, in addition, will also have jurisdiction over other central African Countries such as Gabon, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome & Principe.

In a press statement released by Nestlé Cameroun SA, it is revealed that: “Mr. Coulibaly started his career with Nestlé in 2002 as a Medical Delegate for Nutrition.” It further states that: “In 2006, he was promoted to become the Country Representative for Togo and Benin. Four years after, he moved to Nestlé Burkina Faso as General Business Manager before becoming in 2014, Sales Development Manager for Nestlé Burkina Faso and Category & Marketing Manager for Nestlé Nigeria in 2016. Since 2021, Mr. Coulibaly is the General Business Manager for Nestlé Senegal & Satellites.”

The press statement also stated that, throughout his career; “Mr. Coulibaly has consistently delivered strong business performance and demonstrated exemplary leadership. He will replace Mr. Robert Helou who will be the new Managing Director of Nestlé Saudi Arabia.”

Nestlé has been present in Cameroon since 1965. It, however, started local production in 1981 and, since then, has been playing a vital role in providing high-quality foods and beverages to families across the country. It also serves as a source of employment for several Cameroonians, both directly and indirectly.
