(Buea-Cameroon) The second phase- qualifying round for the Cup of Cameroon draws took place at the Southwest FECAFOOT Bureau in Buea, on January 21, 2020, with Istanbul FA and Kumba Lakers vowing to continue in their quest to represent the Southwest Region at the national level of the Cameroon Cup Finals.
In an interview with President Frank Kome of Istanbul Football Academy Buea, he said “I feel extremely good. This is because I feel it is an opportunity for me to right my wrongs. I believe this will be an opportunity for my foot soldiers to send a strong message to all teams still in the competition and let them know that we can’t repeat the same error, with all the talent we have in our squad. I have as ambition to promote talent and see to it that, come next football season, Istanbul will be at the regional League.” He said.
