Seasoned university don, now serving as the Vice Chancellor, VC, of American-styled varsity, ICT University, Prof Emmanuel Pondi, has bagged a global Pan-African award as a matchless and inspiring intellectual.
The Renowned Professor has been knighted by the African Centre for Competitive Intelligence ACCI-CAVIE. The organisation says the decoration is for Prof. Pondi’s intellectual inspiration which goes beyond the borders of his country Cameroon.
“The African Centre for Competitive Intelligence ACCI-CAVIE is proud to acknowledge Prof Emmanuel Pondi as a Cameroonian intellectual whose influence extends far beyond the borders of his country,” the certificate noted.
The institution also adds that: “His pioneering idea, dedication to Africa’s competitiveness and enlightened patriotism have ignited entire generation”.
Prof Pondi, the institution also said, has “through his writings and teachings significantly shaped the intellectual landscape of Cameroon and Africa”.

Receiving the good news, the President of the Board of Trustees Prof and Founder of ICT University, Prof Victor Mbarika extended congratulatory messages to the seasoned Prof Pondi on behalf of the ICT University.
