At the SPARKAFRIK conference in Yaounde, Municipal Updates Media Group CEO Cham Victor Bama shared his inspiring story, emphasising the importance of consistency, resilience, and humility in achieving entrepreneurial dreams. His presentation, “Making a Difference: Scaling Dreams,” encouraged over 300 young attendees to adopt a patient and selfless approach to success.
Bama drew from his childhood experiences, where his grandmother taught him to prepare corn beer, or “sha,” at 4 am every morning. This routine duty instilled in him a sense of passion and commitment, essential values for young entrepreneurs. He cautioned against the “get rich quick” mentality, promoting instead a focus on hard work and dedication.
The conference, dubbed LEVEL UP, brought together notable figures, including US Ambassador to Cameroon Christopher Lamora and Canadian High Commissioner Lorraine Anderson.
