Christians, pastors, administrators of churches and institutions of the Cameroon Baptist Conversation across the nation assembled at Nkwen Baptist Church, Bamenda, on Sunday, January 10, to witness the induction and installation of the new executive committee.

After two terms as Executive President of the CBC, Rev. Dr. Godwill Ncham Chiatoh handed over the leadership of the CBC, to Rev. Dr. Charlemagne Nditemeh Mbeluh, while Mr. John Yosimbom Mkong continues his second mandate Chairman after reassuring his the delegates who re-elected him during the November 2020 elections. Mrs Diana Ekema Efosi came in to complement Mr. Job Nyanganji who was elected Education Secretary of the CBC.

Rev. Nelson Njobara in his message drew inspiration from Deuteronomy 34:4-9, encouraging the Christians to meditate on the word of God, and evangelise instead of wasting time and destroying the growth of the church.

In a handover message, Rev. Dr Ncham Godwill, outgoing CBC Executive President said, “I want to say a big thank you to all the persons who worked with me throughout this eight years as Executive President, it has not been easy but God saw us through. All the good things and achievements are for us all because we worked together. We learnt a lot during this period especially with the unrest in the Northwest and Southwest Regions with casualties. A good number of our schools and health facilities in rural areas been shut down, But gradually some of those institutions are returning to normalcy. I can assure you I am leaving the convention in the hands of God’s chosen leaders. Rev. Dr Ncham Godwill stated.

On his part, the incoming Executive President, Rev. Dr. Charlemagne Nditemeh Mbeluh told Christians, that his plan of action for the Cameroon Baptist Conversation, is truth, justice, equity and development.

According to the vice-chairperson of the CBC Mrs. Diana Ekema “Christians should serve God without hoping or wanting a position but should know that God sees everything and rewards sacrifices.

The presence of the City Mayor of Bamenda, traditional rulers, and sister denominations boosted the support given to the new Executive Committee of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, now set to serve for the next four years.

Excellent blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress
or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely
confused .. Any suggestions? Bless you!!
