(Douala-Cameroon) The Corporate Awards, an initiative of FabAfriq PR to honour human resource management has been scheduled to take place on December 6, in Douala at Akwa Palace Hotel.
The Douala event billed for December 6, follows that held in Senegal at the Radisson Blu Dakar Sea Plaza on November 22
The award ceremony is a pan-African program whose objective is to celebrate and reward companies that have made it a habit, to honour and respect good HR practices in business.

The award ceremony has been rotating between African Countries since 2016, and this year Cameroon is holding its fourth edition.
According to FabAfriq PR, the event is a business platform for influencing initiatives, promoting best practices and improving human resources management procedures.
The winners of this event will be selected from seven categories of human resources in companies and voting will be done online.
As compared to the last edition, over 80 companies from various sectors of activities are expected to be part. Among which are: Addax Petroleum, Sobraga Gabon, SUNU Insurance, Continental Reinsurance, Ecobank (Cameroon and Gabon), Biopharma, Yoomee, United Bank of Africa, AG Partners Gabon, Sanofi, MTN Ivory Coast, Brussels Airlines, Belife.
The companies are expected, after each edition, to review their HR policies and redefine their internal policies to give them a better chance to participate in the next edition organised in their country.
As per the communiqué, “The awards day begins with the Corporate Women in Leadership Summit, a platform where women leaders share their experience with women and men who aspire to be future corporate executives. It will also be an opportunity to set up international references and commercialise companies in Africa”
