Salatiel Marks A Decade In Music With Electrifying, Sold-Out Concert In Buea

The Molyko Omnisport stadium in Buea on was, on Friday, February 14 completely sold out.

The complete fill-out of the estimated 3,200-capacity stadium was because Salatiel Livanja Bessong, known by his stage name as Salatiel, was celebrating his 10th anniversary musical career.

Since it was also on Valentine’s Day, it was a moment for fans in Buea and other parts of Cameroon to pull out at the concert.

The concert was very spectacular, as aside from Salatiel singing, it featured dancing and comedy skits also.

Salatiel, who is an artist, songwriter, producer, and CEO of Alpha Batter Records, has had several hit songs in the nation to his name.

He has also won several awards nationally and internationally.

Salatiel has collaborated with musicians in and out of the country, including a collaboration with the famed Beyonce.

These achievements in his musical career were worth celebrating.

Before the concert proper, he granted a press conference the day before in which he explained to fans how far he has come and where he is going.

He was accompanied to the press briefing by guest artists including Blaise B, Askia, and Elisha K.

Salatiel started his musical career some 10 years back in Buea before he later moved to Douala in the Littoral Region.

Aside from being a List A artist, he has also produced talents in the country, including Mr. Leo, who is now a record label owner.

At the concert itself, Salatiel’s appearance made fans scramble to have a glimpse of him.

He performed most of his songs live. Fans who listened to songs like Anita, Weekend, Ayagayo, and Toi et Moi could not hide their excitement. To push the adrenaline of fans high, he brought on stage celebrated musician, Petite Pays. The duo performed Pele, a 2022 song they released. The performance sparked a frenzy atmosphere at the Molyko Omnisport stadium.

It was a moment like no other, that in the zone plagued by conflict, Salatiel could be able to pull out a crowd that would fill the stadium of 3,200 capacity, with many standing and others sitting on the bare surfaces as all seats were taken.
