The Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) for Bui, Saidou Moussa, has announced the sudden and tragic passing of Mr. Dumbeh Makem Theophile, the Divisional Officer (DO) for Kumbo Sub-Division.
According to the official announcement from the SDO, the lifeless body of the late DO was discovered at his residence in the Tobin Neighborhood of Kumbo on the morning of December 22, 2025. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently under investigation, with authorities working to establish the cause.
SDO Saidou Moussa conveyed the news “with deep sorrow.” Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Territorial Administration, he extended his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family of Mr. Dumbeh Makem Theophile and the entire staff of the Bui Territorial Administration.
The late DO was a key local administrative figure in the Kumbo Sub-Division. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
